Dear Readers,

I’m delighted to present the newest issue of the GW Journal of Ethics in Publishing. Each volume is a reminder of the curiosity, rigor, and integrity that drives our community, and this issue is no exception. Our contributors explore emerging and existing challenges to the ethical framework of the publishing industry. Their contributions challenge the “norm” and broaden the conversation of what constitutes ethical practices in the media.

This is my first issue with the journal, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help it grow, to refine its processes, and to create a space where thoughtful scholarship can flourish. However, I could not have done it alone. I want to extend my gratitude to our authors, reviewers, and the journal’s dedicated team. Their commitment is what made this publication possible, and they are the future of publishing. I also want to thank you, dear reader, for engaging with and supporting the journal. I hope you enjoy the issue.

Happy reading,

Cecilia Gray
