Full description

  • The Globe

  • The Globe (Research, Undergraduate) is the only Undergraduate Journal in International Affairs at the George Washington University (GW). Jointly sponsored by the International Affairs Society (IAS) and the Elliott School of International Affairs, The Globe publishes an annual issue every Spring Semester to showcase the ideas, perspectives, and research of GW Students interested in Security, Human Rights, Development, and other sub-fields of IA. The Globe aims to engage The George Washington University academic community in responsible global citizenship through the promotion of undergraduate international relations scholarship. The articles published in The Globe offer rich diversity in thought and conviction, thus allowing for active, vigorous debate and strengthening our understanding of International Affairs overall.

All George Washington University undergraduates are actively encouraged to submit their original academic work for consideration. We hope that the clarity, honesty, and accountability of our issues not only advance the field of IA but also encourage dynamic leadership on a community-wide level.
