Journal Publishing Guides

Student Journal Toolkit, Published by the PKP School at Simon Fraser University.

The PKP School, a free resource offered by Simon Fraser University, has in-depth courses about journals, editorial workflows, and using Open Journals Systems (OJS). Some courses are also offered in Spanish.

The Library Publishing Curriculum is a free resource that has several modules for journals.

Pathway: Starting a Library Publishing Program: This Pathway is a curated guide to the curriculum for a reader who is starting a library publishing program, a suggested entryway to the full curriculum highlighting the topics most essential for the task.
