Celebrating Diversity
While some traditions and eras in church history have struggled with exclusion, the dominant theological trajectory affirms that Christ’s blood, the symbol of his sacrifice, is “universally receptive,” capable of welcoming every “type” of human[4][5][3]. Theologies that overemphasize literal or exclusionary readings often miss this deeper symbolism and unity.
